3X5s

I had a ridiculously good long weekend. A weekend so good, you need a weekend to recover from it. And when I thought about writing about it, I felt like it would be silly to write about it and not include photos. But the more photos I add, the less pseudo-anonymous the blog becomes. Would this make it harder to be honest? Would it change the way I write?

Maybe. And maybe that's OK.

I know that most of the people who read the blog know me, or at least know of me, so they know Hubs's real name and they know where we live and they know or can identify all the other pseudonymned peeps on this blog.

But after much deliberation I concluded that I have the AugBlog and the Green blog and they are both full of pictures. If anyone really wants to know more about me and my life, or about Hubs, there are plenty of ways they can find more dirt. It's the internet for sobbing out loud. Anyone can find anything about anyone.

So here is a rundown of the awesome weekend, in a series of non-identifying photos:

Bridesmaids bouquet for a wedding I worked on on Thursday.

One of the succulent centerpieces for the wedding.

Poof of Baby's Breath for another centerpiece.

Went with Hubs to the AWESOME Whales exhibit.

A free day a the museum!

After two glorious days off from work working on flowers on Thursday and tooling around Chicago with Hubs on Friday, we spent a great day in the burbs with some dear friends on Saturday. But didn't take any pictures....

But on Sunday, we skipped church to go to the annual fundraising walk for the animal shelter from which we got dear AugDog. We feared he would be a tiny terror with the other dogs, but no! He was a perfect friendly gentleman. It was like we were in an alternate universe.

He did just fine around 150 or so other dogs.

I'm sure the steady supply of positive reinforcement treats helped a lot.
And after a beautiful day at the park, Hubs and I had lunch with friends at one of our fave spots, and then spent the rest of the day relaxing. Well, I relaxed, and he worked on his work. AugDog was so pooped from the excitement of the walk, he spent the entire afternoon like this:
I hear ya, pup. I am ready for my nap now....
