i need to decide about a new bedspread for the new apartment. my current duvet has had some unfortunate encounters with weird bleaching chemicals from my face soap and one embarrassing oil slick stain from the brilliant day i set my "wet" lunch bag down onto it only to discover it was my oil and vinegar salad dressing leaking all over the place...
anyway...
i need a new bed spread. i'm drawn towards girly white/pinkish designs to go with the lovely grass green shade of the walls and white trim. i'm also open to going with solids such as grey and eggplant shades, but i haven't seen any that i like. too stuffy. i'm concerned that my top 3 picks are a bit TOO girly. even though they feel like me and i think they could be pretty with my dark wood dresser and "heavier" dark accessories....
my new room is basically THIS COLOR. Except a little more "grass" and a little less "pond slime".
i've narrowed it down to the following:

loving number 2! While 1 is fun, I think I would tire from it, and 3 is very pretty but just not the same 'pop' as 2. But then again I don't know if you should take suggestions from the girl with brown and blue plaid duvet. Also anything I can do for you or mom? Thinking and praying for you. PS - even though I don't personally really know the Boy, please pass responsibility for active engagement of encouragement to others. keep him in your heart and prayers (I will also do this for you), and of course listen, but put your energy and effort to mom. When you are in the trenches of a war you can not spend energy worrying about a second front that is across the country. Bad analogy but I'm not sure how else to put it. Perhaps emotionally generous to a fault? Save something for yourself.
The first one is definitly you. #2 looks way too much like a dorm room. # is nice too, but will sho so much dirt.
I agree with the above, a grown man needs to take care of himself and/or find other christian men to support him. You have plenty in your own life to worry about.
