and here is one of the dress! it's actually a bridesmaid's dress, and i ordered it in ivory (the picture is "beige"), although every website i have seen this dress offered says that it is not available in white or ivory.... which could be a problem! but the dress shop lady assured me that it IS available in ivory. and BONUS! only about $200.

i love it. i think i look hot in it, and i DID try on about 30 dresses before i and my entourage decided that this was THE dress. big poofy bedazzled lace heavy bouffant numbers were so not me. they felt like a costume and did not look like fun for an outdoor ceremony and backyard reception. this dress has a little train and strappy straps that hopefully will keep me from getting those chicken fat arm pit squishes that bulge over the top of strapless tops. you know the ones. you've looked in the mirror and pinched them while muttering curses under your breath. but this one, no boobpit pudge! just big swoopy flowers and a flowy chiffon.
so i hope y'all like it. because i do. and i'm excited to see it in person.
and while i'm not sure that diamonds are really a girl's best friend, they do make me smile a whole lot.

LOVING THE DRESS! LOVING LOVING LOVING IT!
i noticed that you now have a "wedding" tag. a TAG named for your WEDDING. as i glanced over the other tags i had to giggle. holy capolie jill. what a journey this has been.
looks like a beautiful perfect dress.
hmmm... just did a little more research. the wedding tag has been around for a long time. it's just WHOSE wedding you're talking about that's new. my how things change. :)
